Presentation Brothers' School Trust

Presentation Brothers Schools Trust (PBST) is the body established in
2009 to act as trustees of Bunscoil Chríost Rí and of all the former
Presentation Brothers schools in Ireland. The trust is a Company Limited
by Guarantee and not having Share Capital (Company Registration No.
466013) and is a Registered Charity (No. 20071721).

The main object for which the trust was established is to ensure and
foster the advancement of education and to further the aims and purposes
of Catholic education in the Presentation Brothers tradition animated by
the spirit of Blessed Edmund Rice. The Presentation Brothers are no
longer directly involved in education so the trust is administered by a
Chief Executive Officer who takes direction from a Board of Directors
composed of lay volunteers drawn from a variety of backgrounds.

The role of the Presentation Brothers Schools Trust is essentially
two-fold: firstly, to ensure that the 'characteristic spirit' of each
school is in keeping with Christ’s teaching as exemplified by Edmund
Rice and, secondly, as legal owner, to take overall responsibility for
the properties and finances of the schools and to ensure compliance with
statutory requirements.

The primary foundation document of the trust is its Charter which acts
as a type of Constitution to underpin the work of the trust and all that
happens in a PBST school. The four core values of the Charter are:

- A genuine and tangible spirit of respect and caring for each member of
the school community
- A comprehensive and holistic education
- A vibrant spirit of community and partnership
- A deep commitment to gospel values as lived in the Edmund Rice
tradition

The office of Presentation Brothers Schools Trust is currently situated
at Mardyke House, Mardyke Walk, Cork and the contact telephone number is
087 1257007.
